tammy's a-coming to town
So, yeah, we had no internet at work today. No network, no e-mail, no nothing. Even our phones were acting wonky. So naturally, nothing got done, because there wasn't shit we could DO. And all day long, it was raining like hell, and we didn't know why until work was over:
THERE IS A FUCKING TROPICAL STORM OFF OUR COAST AND I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT IT UNTIL NOW BECAUSE OUR INTERNET PROVIDER SUCKS ASS!!!

Goddammit! The first tropical system we get all season, and I missed its spawning! I missed the issuing of the tropical storm warning, and all because we had no internet all day at work!! BAH!
Well, at least it looks like we'll have some interesting weather over the next couple of days (including some much-needed rain) and I might get the day off work tomorrow, so there's that. Plus, I finally saw the famous Mulder/Scully kiss in "Existence" on the Sci-Fi Channel, and that pleases me greatly. The episode was stupid, of course, but the kiss rocked. And yeah, I never saw the kiss before, because I stopped watching the show right around the time it started sucking (*coughmagicstarlightcough*). So there's OTP closure. SWEET.
