sickness is a state of being that SUCKS
NNNNNGH KILL ME NOW FOR I AM DED.
am sick. have been sick since saturday morning. nose runny, throat sore, allergies raging. owowowowow. did nothing all weekend except lay around apartment begging the gods for swift, merciful death. was denied. gods suck.
also, for some weird reason, decided that it was finally, finally time to rewatch buffy the vampire slayer from the beginning. huh. i need closure, i suppose. distance is funny, btw. i'm up to "surprise" and "innocence" from s2 and it's like watching the show for the first time, since i'm not so emotionally involved now. interesting and fun.
(but of course, i had to intersperse watching btvs with watching doctor who, because i can't get enough of eccleston's smile on my television. omg nine i love you and when you go all dark in "dalek" my panties disappear. it's amazing. they disapparate and stuff. even when i'm sick!)
read a lot this weekend, including fascinating book about the great new england hurricane of 1938. more on that later when i have brains that work, but WOW. excellent read. also, the heat wave we're all having? does not bode well for the rest of hurricane season. does not bode well AT ALL.
why am i at work??? oh yeah, because i have to be here. *headdesk*
