Happy New Year!
Well me and my mom just got finished taking down the tree and putting all the Christmas decorations away. How very sad :(
Tomorrow I start my student teaching. I hope it goes alright!
New Years Eve was fun. Angie, Nikkie and I went to the Double Olive bar in Dearborn and hung out with Angie's brother and all his friends. I did not pay for a single drink! All of mine got bought for me. We had a champagne toast at midnight and took a taxi home. They were open and serving until 4 am. The next day I ended up puking :( I was really hungover, but I guess I got what I deserved. I laid in bed the whole day trying to feel better. Eventually I did and went to church with my parents and then ate some tacos and I was fine. Last night I hung out with Nicky and Mike for a while and then stayed in and watched movies with my sister and mom. I felt like staying in. All my friends were over at Nikkie's watching the Rose Bowl (that sucks that Michigan lost) and drinking. I really didn't feel like being around liquor and smoke, so I stayed in.
So today I am gearing myself up for tomorrow. Why am I feeling so nervous?
I guess I am kinda glad that 2004 is over. Nothing really special happened. Lots of good times, like, renewing old friendships, moving back home, all my good times with friends and family, and doing really well in school. But it was a bust in the romance department and my grandmother died. Oh well. I am glad that I am healthy and alive. Hopefully 2005 brings graduation and a job!
