HA!
Back home and on the 'nets since yesterday night! Found a flist list of + back 100... may not actually check all of it due to time constraints :-( [btw, since getting a new keyboard for some reason I keep hitting the keys wrong when I'm making smiley faces and ending up with one-eyed grins, thus: .-) so if you see one in a comment sometime, I'm not doing it on purpouse, I simply didn't notice before hitting send!]
Had a lovely Christmas and a pretty crappy new year's eve. This is now the third year in a row that I get sick for jan 31, but there's an up-ward trend: this year I only got sick on the 31's afternoon and onwards, and it's a very run-of-the-mill head cold. Still, could not go out at midnight in the freezing cold. But next year is my year! I'll make it! I'll really make it!
I am now killing a bit of time in the hope that the incessant rain will stop for an hour so I can go out and hunt for my groceries like any evoluted human being *grumps*
Things of a fannish nature:

- There are wanks flitting about, but I'm barely aware of them since I don't go on forums anymore... too time consuming. So, yeah, wank-free zone right here, if you need safe harbour my friends ;-P
- Uriel was on NCIS last night! I am cleary psychic :-D (Does Robert Wisdom specialize in playing dicks?) Plus it was a terrific McGee episode, so it's all good in the world *pumps fist*
- SGA's Vegas was so awesome! Not what I was expecting based on the promo, it had me giggling the whole time despite the depressing storyline. I think stargate is the only show I've seen that actually does canon AU's (or, in this case, practically a fusion) and that is one reason I'll miss it. Plus, did they go all out on the soundtrack for this one or what?? Waiting to watch the last episode after it airs. Sigh. Don't really want it to end, though I'm not bitter about it.
