For what it's worth, an interesting article I read today on sex.

Isabel has decided that sleeping for a long length of time is making my life too easy and well rested. The last few nights she's been waking up at random times, usually just as I've fallen into a deep restful sleep.

Fun.

She is fun. She's amazing. It's amazing the things she does and how she looks and how she looks at me and the things we do throughout our day.

Children are wonderful.

I had no intention of veering off into a children are a blessing tangent. Even though they are.

I should update more frequently. Aren't y'all interested in my life and thoughts? :)

I find it humorous that the most popular modest clothing sites in Blog Land feature clothing that was most popular with me in high school (and most unpopular with...well, everyone). And I was sooo not ultra-conservative-boys-play-with-trucks-girls-play-house-hyper-return-to-patriarchy in high school like so many of the blogs that promote these clothing sites are.

But one I found today is just pretty. Too bad the prices aren't.

You guys know we don't watch much tv in our house. Much meaning maybe an hour a week. However, every once in a while my brain is too tired to do anything except stare at something. I probably should be in bed at that point, that would be the wiser thing to do. I don't know why I don't haul myself into the bedroom. Anyhow, it's during those times I catch dumb stuff like The Biggest Loser. I hate American Idol and there's nothing else on so that's what I watch. And the game part is interesting and the weight loss inspiring, but what drives me nuts is the personal aspect of it. They get so danged emotionally invested in each other and the whole experience. And let me just tell you, men are as catty as women. It's disgusting to watch. You're adults! And there's a whole element that's missing in the editing. People are crying over sending someone home, blah blah blah, and I don't know why. It kind of makes me think I want to see that side of the show, where you see the relationships and why they're so emotional. It'd make those dumb interviews with the contestants about the other contestants more meaningful.

Everyone should go read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle.

Our lettuc, garlic, cilantro, sweet potatoes, carrots, and strawberries are growing. Yay! I can't wait until we get to pick them and eat them!

Anyone know of anyone looking to get rid of an upright piano?

I miss David.
