I am officially ready for summer. Spring is highly overrated given the fact that it started almost a month ago, and here I sit looking out my window at work and I'm staring at a good two feet of snow on the ground, and it's still falling.
I woke up grumpy this morning. Really pissy. Which I will fully attribute to the weather. God and I must have some communication problems because there were countless times this morning when I saw "god damn snow" and as far as I know, it still hasn't relocated itself to hell yet.
However, instead of stewing on it, I am trying to look towards the positive, which made me think about my friends. They are amazing. A lunch with my favorite red head reminded me that I spend way too much time focusing on the negative or too much time trying to please others that in all reality, could give two shits about me.
So time to turn over a new leaf. I'm tired of trying to be the better person. If you're an ass, expect that in return. I'll take care of me and the other people that take care of me.
