Hnnng yessss Thank you for the translation! I loved this part to bits, mostly because Shinra is so adorable. He just mentioned so many things that I liked: his relationship with Celty, his high school life with those 2, ballpoint pens...

It's like he sure loves to tease a lot. He's known Shizuo for years and still, he mentions Izaya non-stop in front of him all the time.

Haha. Among the few persons in the world who are not irrationally afraid of Shizuo Shinra has my respect. Even if he knows Shizuo would probably go berserk at that name he remains straightforward and analytical and...somehow just is capable of talking some sense into Shizuo. I like that.

Did Shinra's bumbling about end abruptly like that because Shizuo strangled him? Anyway, Shinra is weird and adorable at the same time. Drrr!! needs more characters like him simply to tune down its overall seriousness.

I like how Narita throws various subtle hints in such irrelevant scenes that most readers tend to overlook, like in Tsukumoya Shiki's article or in this endless rambling of Shinra. You can even predict the fate of certain character(s) just by analyzing these two snippets.
