I'm not gonna pretend to be Heath Ledger's biggest fan, but I'm still pretty sad and shook up by the new of his death. Thanks Stef for the depressing wake up call.
My first memory of the guy was "10 Things I Hate About You". I remember loving his dimples and crazy curly hair. I can't believe he's dead. I thought Stef was pulling a prank on me.
I don't know if anyone feels the same way but it's really tough for me to accept an actor's death sometimes. Especially young actors, they've barely gotten a chance to prove themselves as true thespians and build their resume. I grow to like and respect these actors when I watch their movies or shows. I tend to make an emotional connection to the movie/show and that entails a certain level of concern for the actors themselves. Trust me when I say I'm not an obsessive celebrity chaser. I think they need their privacy, I'm not a huge supporter of the paparazzi.
