I finally did the MySpace thing. I'm waiting for it to be cool and exciting. How do I make those ugly ads go away? How do I make my page pretty like other peoples'?
I just had some delicious friend platano and garlic butter sauce. Mmmm.
I checked my email this morning and saw one from my older brother Joe with the subject, "announcement." Joe never emails me so I was a little worried. Turns out it was an email to my family announcing that he's going to propose to his girlfriend next week. Dayum. Joe getting married is a weird thought. I like Emily a lot and I think she's been really good for Joe (as in helping him realize what a sexist poopie pants he is and supporting him in changing). She's totally cool with our family and isn't obsessed with him (unlike his other girlfriends). I just like her a lot and like the idea of her being around a while. He said something like, "if you see her again it means she said yes." I don't think she would say no but saying no doesn't mean breaking up-it could just mean not right now. Anyway. I'm excited because it'll be a big to-do and I'll have to find a beautiful "congratulations on your engagement" card. I wonder when they'll get married. ..this means going home and potentially a new outfit.
