Mayun I hated work today. I was supposed to be off today but someone called in. She called on Saturday night to say she was sick and wouldn't be in on Monday. Suspicious. Anyway. There was absolutely no one to work but me and so I went in at 6am this morning thinking I was gonna stay a few hours to get them thru the morning rush and ended up staying until almost 2pm. I was definitely the I'm-not-even-supposed-to-be-here-today clerk.
I'm continuing to feel better about our decision to stay here a little longer. I'm still a little sad about it but every day I'm a little more settled on the idea. I'm pretty happy about the prospect of a promotion at work-money cheers me up real fast. I'm also pretty happy about just being able to hang out with friends longer. I haven't known some of y'all that long and it's nice to know we have a couple more years to get QT in.
