Anne reached 15 weeks today. She's starting to get a baby bump. Compared to a couple weeks ago, she's feeling quite well. I don't think she ever gets morning sickness--though she does get headaches every now and then.
I finished my third class last week (Accounting). I spent 10 to 15 hours a week doing homework. Most of it was done on Saturdays. I'm continuing now in the Advanced Managerial Accounting class. I don't really care for Accounting. I enjoy math, but the math in accounting is simple so far. I've found that it's more about categorizing the numbers and defining them.
I have been doing fine at work. Our Purchasing Manager quit (that's now three managers to quit in three months), and some of her responsibilities were allocated to me. I was happy to get them. This summer, I was given the responsibilities I wasn't supposed to get for another two years, but I eventually found myself slightly underwhelmed again. I'm hoping the purchasing side of things will help fill that, and I'm also glad to get the purchasing experience--it seems easy so far. Hopefully, I can get a little overtime, too.
The cabinet I've been working on is coming along. I have the base stripped and sanded, and this saturday, I stripped all the doors and drawers and sanded one of the doors. I've found my next project already. Grandpa Rockwell gave me a really old baby rocking chair. It's not a family heirloom. He just bought it at an auction. The seat and one of the arms is missing and the other arm is broken. Judging by wear on the finish, I would estimate it to be about 100 years old (but I'm no expert). I wanted to make a crib for the baby; however, the wood is too expensive for me, and I honestly don't yet have the confidence in woodworking to take on such a project.
