number one musical pet peeve
holy god i am just about to eliminate pop stations from my radio forevermore. i have finally nailed the pin on the head and have figured out, by far, spanning all genres of music, the absolute dumbest, most annoying, and station change provoking element of music: the effing talking. EX: half the rap songs ever made, half the r&b songs ever made are ruined when mr "im so cool i cant even handle it" decides to use his song as a freaking 2 minute apology to the ho he just cheated on with a new ho, who will be apologised to in his next hit. some r&b/pop song came on 104 as i was coming home called "i pray" i think, not totally sure, but the girl just goes off with this huge shout out to the world etc and i am just like as if you have already pissed me off with your speaking voice before i even HEAR the singing part, haha and cuuuuuuue station change. i mean has there actually been a HIT where the artist takes a siesta mid song to shout out to some other guy with a word up? i cant recall any. you people are digging your grave in the 1 hit wonder cemetery before you even get 2min into the song. if mozart started talking halfway through a concerto people even 3 centuries back woulda just been like shit dude! shut the fuck up and stick to piano, we dont want a freakin monologue, save it for the album "thank you" section ya dumbass. and its always is in that low, sensual, barry white kind of "maybe this will make me sound sincere" tone. omg i can not stand it.
