Here comes the sun...
I realized yesterday why I really want to leave Alaska. The sun isn't going down until like 11pm. I was up until 4 am then had to get up at 7 so I was really tired yesterday. I stayed up talking to Derek until 8pm on skype so that I would go to bed too early. I still woke up at 4 this morning. lol The sun already seemed to be coming up around 4:30, but I don't know the actual time it was supposed to be up. I have about 2 1/2 weeks lef tof work then I begin my move to CA. :) I can't wait. Everyone is very excited that we are coming home. There is a new high school opening up in Grand Terrance so I plan on applying there as soon as it is open and they are taking applications. I didn't even know about it until Saturday when Derek was watching his nices soccer game and text me about it. His mom and step-dad live in Grand Terrace just a few blocks from where my mom and Gene and I used to live. :) So basically the kids and I plan on house hopping, staying with family for a month and then hopefully I will have my own place. I can get a job somewhere. People talk about unemployment being at 9% in CA... and the optomist in my says that 91% of people are employed. Soon I will be one of them. :) In other news, my principal still hasn't given me a letter. I think she doesn't want to give me one, even though she said she hasn't forgotten about it. I will not let this get to me. I will be persistent. I will succeed because I won't allow negativity to get in my way of trying.
