Well, I managed to fall asleep for three hours after coming home from school today, which was probably a mistake because now I just feel gross and it'll probably keep me from getting to sleep again tonight. I'm trying to get my homework done early in hopes that I can get back to bed before the second wind hits me.
It finally snowed here this weekend, and campus doesn't seem to be particularly shoveled or plowed or anything. The busses are all running late too. It's kinda fun in a slushy kind of way. But that brings me to something I've wanted to discuss. Winter fashions! As usual I'm on top of the things the kids are wearing today, and I'm bringing to you in this convenient report.
~Anne's Collegiate Winter Fashion Alert!~
Tip #1: For all you guys who spent your winter breaks in Colorado at posh ski resorts, be sure to leave your ski tags on your jackets. Not only does it say "I'm an athlete", it also says "I'm a pretentious asshole!"
Tip #2: Girls, girls, girls. Don't be suckered into wearing things like hats, scarves, gloves, jackets, and pants this winter. Those things would mess up your hair and make you look fat. Instead, dare to put on your black lycra miniskirt and teeter to the bars on those sexy strappy heels from "Claire's". Nothing says "snow bunny" like frostbitten toes and a big ol' cast on your leg when you wipe out on the ice!
Tip #3: Another popular choice among men on campus is to wear only a black knit cap to protect themselves from the elements. For the fashion-conscious but frugally minded, this is a great look for you! Just buy a cap at WalMart and put it on your head. Even though you may only be wearing a t-shirt and jeans, the cap says "I'm making the effort to stay warm."
Tip #4: If you have to wear a jacket, remember these two rules. For men, the jacket must be as huge as possible. Ideally it would be ribbed with puffed-out compartments stuffed with down pillows and old newspapers. If you don't look vaguely spherical, it's not big enough. Now for women, the opposite is true. A fashionable lady's jacket is as small as possible. Tiny suade sports jackets that barely button up are very popular, and it's even better if you can't button it at all. An exposed midriff is also a plus.
I hope I've been able to bring some light to the world of winter fashions. I know it's helped me! Not only am I freezing, I'm beautiful too!
Anyway. Here's a quick quiz, then I'm back to the Japanese homework.

Which NetHack Monster Are You? Nethack is the best game ever. But I've never gotten lower than level 20. *sob*
