So... tired....
I spent five hours at work today, in my *freezing* office, building this web page for a professor in the department. It wouldn't be so bad, but it's very high profile with pretty specific requirements and I'm being anal about making sure it gets done right. You can see what I have so far here, if you want.
That said, the professors I work for have developed the nasty habit of calling me at home when they want me to do stuff... it's starting to get on my nerves. Calling an employee at home is really invasive! And they feel like they can because I'm a student worker. Well, heads up guys... next week is finals. Did it ever occur to you that this might not be the best time for me to be working 10 hours of overtime on your projects? That when I leave work to go home... it's to *get away* from work?
Anyway, enough bitching about that. School is actually going pretty okay. I think my grades will be fine this semester and finals week will be pretty light. I hope. As of now, this is what I have remaining:
-Japanese final exam, Monday the 15th, for which I am grievously unprepared
-EALC 150 final exam, also Monday the 15th
-4-6 pg. paper for English, due end of next week
-4 pg. take-home final essay for English, due end of next week
-10 pg. Japanese linguistics paper, much of which is already done, due Wed. next week
So, on the whole not too bad. I can't wait to go home and vegetate with my sister. We're going to play FFX-2 together, so it'll be a fun break. For now, I'm off to lay in bed like a vegetable for a while.
