I just want you to know that I uploaded the two sequels to "A Place to Heal" - "The Christmas Interlude" and "Circle of Life" written in 2011 and 2012 - on AO3. You'll find the original story there, too.

The APTH stories are rated gen, there's bits of angst and h/c in "Circle of Life". The Christmas one is just holiday fluff. They were both written for challanges on the Little Danny group.
Both stories are about Jack's and LD's life at the cabin in Minnesota. And, of course, the horse is still with them, too. They weren't posted anywhere but on the LD list until now so I thought I'd let you know they are 'out there' now.

Christmas Interlude:
It's Christmas at the cabin. Daniel and his horse are on a mission. Holiday fluff.
Circle of Life
Life at the cabin goes on and Daniel continues to heal. Then, one day, his horse is taking her leave. Will Daniel be able to cope with the roller coaster of sadness, worry and hope? Jack is trying everything to help Daniiel coming to terms with his loss - but not everyone who wanders is lost h/c, angst
You'll also find the original story there as well. "A Place to Heal" has been written in 2006 and was revised and polished up as a fanzine for my Japen relief charity in 2011. It's now available to read on the archives, too.
