Still sick
1. Now 100% of my family is (are?) sick. DD is now on day 7 of the Worst Cold in the World. I'm on Day 4, and Mr. Annearchy is on Day 2. Last night after dinner Mr. A and I watched Thank You for Smoking. The movie ended a little after 8 p.m. and I felt so lousy I went in our bedroom just to read for awhile. After maybe 20 minutes or so, I decided to go to bed. So I was in bed before 9 p.m., which is bizarre (and tells you how crappy I felt) because I rarely go to bed before 11 - 11:30. A little before 3 a.m. I woke up and DD was wandering around. She'd been coughing all night and apparently had taken the wrong meds (Wal-Tussin Non-Drowsy, instead of Wal-Flu "severe cold" nighttime formula) so she hadn't been able to sleep yet. I gave her some Wal-Flu and sent her back to bed. When I left home at 7:20 she wasn't awake yet. Her school doesn't start until 9 a.m. but I called her in sick and told them she might come later in the day if she felt well enough.
Anyway, apparently this Cold from Hell (heh, ironic) is sweeping through town right now. This is definitely the worst cold I've had in at least 5 years. Too bad flu shots (which I get every year) don't protect you from the dreaded rhinovirus. Anybody I'm RPing with, sorry I wasn't around last night. Might not be around tonight either for various reasons. *hackcoughblownose*
