1. Mr. Annearchy and I are discovering (or in my case, rediscovering) The Glory That Is The History Channel. The current offering (in an evening on "Modern Marvels") is an hour-long feature about sugar, including the use of sugar to make ethanol. Before this was an hour about snacks, including chewing gum. Being the whore I am for Useless Bits of Information, I'm finding these shows weirdly fascinating. I'd rather watch pretty much anything on the History Channel instead of some piece of crap (name your least favorite show) on any other channel. Recently we enjoyed a program about cement.
I told you my life is boring ;)
2. I THINK I'm done Christmas shopping. I couldn't find the dreaded VTech Touch Tablet at Wal-Mart for Maya. I've given up on that before Christmas. Maybe she'll get a lot of money for Christmas and can buy it for herself later on eBay...though I just Froogled for it and the 3 references said "Sorry, sold out" :-O I guess it's one of the Must-Have kids' items this Christmas. Anyway, today I bought her 2 things she asked for: a
Critter Cruiser and a
Super Pet Runabout Hamtrac. Both of these are for Frisky the hamster (who, hallelujah, is no longer waking Maya up in the middle of the night because we move his cage into the office before we go to bed). I hope she and Frisky enjoy both of these items.
3. Still need to wrap Mr. Annearchy's presents. Tomorrow night, maybe. I hope.
4.
Yaaay! 5. David Letterman must be on crack tonight. His interview with Bonnie Hunt is more bizarre than his usual interviews (though I think that's because she's talking about some experiences she had when she was a nurse). Interesting factoid:
Bonnie Hunt used to be married to Maya's friend KH's uncle. That sounds better than my actually knowing Richard Simmons.
