1. First, the brilliant news (which I've known for at least a month but had wait to tell y'all):
My boy Monte is on the cover of Acoustic Guitar magazine. W00T!!
Of course a lengthy article accompanies the cover photo. For an acoustic guitarist, this is pretty much the biggest and best critical acclaim you can get, not to mention amazing PR within the segment of music fans who love acoustic guitar. So naturally the Montiacs are over-the-moon happy about this. Well, I am, anyway, and I know that Monte is too. Radio airplay?? Pffft. Gimme a magazine cover, baybee!

I don't understand this result at all. I don't self-identify as Muslim at all. I do self-identify as agnostic. Maybe I got this result because I'm not inimical to Islam. *shrugs* Whatever.
4. Took Maya to the orthodontist today. Got her appliance adjusted so that she can wear it comfortably despite having a 12-year molar growing in. Why yes, she IS a couple years early getting that molar, but the, she got her first two baby teeth at 4 months. So she's always been a bit precocious about teeth.
5. Mr. Annearchy did a lot of vacuuming in the house today. A good thing. Wheee. Let's hear it for spouses who work from home :D
