I hope you have a wonderful birthday, Christina. You and I aren't close, but I do remember that you were one of my first friends in the HP fandom :) May your part of Florida be spared any more hurricanes this year *crosses fingers*
School year in New Orleans, St. Bernard Parish a wash. Looks like my sisters with school-age kids (Jane and Ellen) might as well stay where they are until next June *sigh*
Harry Potter's creator and an eggstra taste of magic: "It is a portrait that perhaps even Harry Potter might find a little out of the ordinary. A striking three-dimensional depiction of JK Rowling was unveiled last night as the best-selling author's official likeness at the National Portrait Gallery in London." Interesting symbolism...lol...at least someone is still willing to write "symbolism" and "J.K. Rowling" in the same sentence;)
