hey girl! i haven't been keeping up with my friends page so i just now read your post. so glad to hear things worked out! jens and i had to go down to houston and get my passport expedited too! it's no problem. took us 2 days. your job sounds good! 300,000 is a good sized town. that's the size of mokpo, where we live and we like it. too bad you're gonna be so far north though! we wanted to visit you at the end of sept. but we're taking a ferry into fukuoka in the very south lol ....wanna take a trip to fukuoka at the end of sept? lol that's great you'll have a month to settle in! korea's school year must be the same as japan's- we have august off too! we're going to vietnam and jeju island. anyway, good luck with everything! can't wait to hear how you find it! and i can't wait to see pictures! :o) do you have a facebook account? if not, you should get one because it's the easiest way to upload and share pictures. ok! ttyl! ~ randi

I'd love to visit Fukuoka. Maybe I'll meet you guys there. Well, I know you don't like the cold, but if you ever decide to visit northern Honshu or Hokkaido, you can stop by my place for a while. Aomori's the best place in Japan to see cherry blossoms, therefore you have to come.
