busy busy
Deb and her husband are in town this weekend, and I've been dragging them around. We've tried to brave the line at Shake Shack, looked around Union Square market, gone shopping in Soho, got cupcakes and free Ben 'N Jerry's, went to see The Artist is Present at MOMA, took in a naughty burlesque show, and I wound up showing up in their hotel room this morning with a mouse I caught in a paper bag. They're off to a fancy dinner and Broadway show - meh, no thanks - so I left them in Pearl River Market to take in the Score! swap meet down at Bklyn Yards. Got some middling vintage, a bunch of records, lots of subway reading (although I tried to steer clear of chick-lit) some hangers - well, I do need hangers - and a British flag of the size Ferris Bueller sports on his door. Not sure what to do with it beyond recreating the "Kids Are Alright" album cover.
