Currently, I really hate money. Went to the grocery store last night and ended up dropping about $60 [while forgetting cereal and granola bars], and now I need to buy extra supplies to build a letterform that I don't know how to build. Ugh. There's $40 in my credit card that I probably won't pay for a while that was used to send my taxes, and I should be getting $72 at some point dropped in my account from said taxes. With all expenses paid except for the credit card, I have $393.07, that should last me until the end of February when I will hopefully receive my overage check. I need to pay rent. Rent is $325 a month, but we've had extra money lying around thanks to Kim, so I've been trying to get Michelle [our landlady] to tell me how of that extra is there, and each time she tells me to call another time when she's not there. It's February 2nd, I want my rent paid, and I want to know if I can somehow pay $200-something for rent instead of the normal $325, so I'll be going to the main office building to talk to her in person. I will also be going there to get cable, because apparently our apartment is signed under some community benefactor thing starting yesterday, which means a free Sunday paper, cable TV, free membership to the plaza gym, and possibly high speed internet? We'll see.
And the thing that gets to me most is, the school says that the overage check will be here in the end of February, but knowing them, it'll be late by a couple of weeks, which means I'm screwed for March rent, because by then I'll have maybe $5 left after electric bill expenses and the like.
Ugh ugh ugh.
