This makes me sick.
I suppose I have more to say about it. I really do want to write about. But I'm not sure how to formulate my thoughts so maybe I'll come back to it.
For now, whether or not you support abortion, the thought that a woman who is actively miscarrying at 17 weeks would be denied an abortion (which, by the way in addition to being an elective procedure steeped in controversy, is also a routine medical procedure done during miscarriage when it is known that the fetus will not survive regardless of intervention) when she requested it and left to wait 3 days for the fetal heartbeat to stop, become septicemic and die...is mind-boggling. And, frankly, utterly terrifying.
