Warm and cold at the same time
A busy weekend so far. Tomorrow I will make up for the activity of the past few days by sitting about in my pyjamas or in the Radoxy bath reading Northern Lights (The Golden Compass has made me curious). I probably won't be able to resist a little light flat-cleaning though. Thursday I felt weathered by a number of minor work stresses that combined with my intermittent bowel pains and emerging cold to form a general cloud of grimness. I went back to my mum's and hazed out in front of the TV with vegetarian frankfurters and felt better all-round on Friday. The fact I was having a day off work contributed to that. After a lie-in I went to Croydon and did all my Christmas shopping (well, nearly). The crowds and queues and strobe lighting made me feel aaargh inside, but don't they always?
Today I rushed back to Nottingham as quickly as I could to look at more flats. I really like looking at flats now. Perhaps I will retrain as an estate agent**.
