These two I did last weekend before the light gave out. I'M SO HAPPY! Quite different to my plan but I don't care. I love it. Fluffy green ferns down the bottom, which will go all the way along right to the end, including maidenhair, hen-and-chicken, button leaf and pteris which has lovely variegated leaves. Next one up is dark leafed things, on the left with the interesting ones with purple undersides and dark little leaves and I love that panel. On the right is mostly mondo grass and other grassy things and some spiderplants for variety. Next row up on the left are super gorgeous interesting leaves, silvery ones and some with really dark veins and amazing patterns, then at the top is a bit of everything. On the right, second row is more of the dark leafed things like on the left third row, then at the top are pansies! Because I wanted some flowers and couldn't yet get cyclamens as I wanted them.

On the left you can really see the green and purple leaves =D On the right, more pansies! and then more mondo grass and grassy things, and (I think?) caterpillar ferns. Idk they came from Aunty Meredith, who has given me SO much stuff for this thing. I love her <3 I'm going to have to get her something pretty as thanks. So yeah, I did this one yesterday.

The three completed pallets! Omg this is so much fun. This is what I've been working towards! I stab a hole in the weed mat with a knife, poke the soil around inside to make a big enough hole (or dig some out for the ones like the ferns with bigger root boles) and stuff the plants in. And then WALL OF GREEN. I can't wait for this to all grow in and cover over the weed mat.

Half-finished big pallet, because I ran out of plants. The rest of the ferns down the bottom and pansies at the top, and some orchids I think? Idk. They came from Mum and it's winter so they're just leaves on a stick but we'll see what happens. And some super overexposure because there was some serious contrast between sun and shadow there. They're so happy!

Three and a half of six pallets done! In the pots at the top are the cyclamens from the 'save me' bin at Bunnings and little babys-tears-like plants that also get white flowers in spring! So I'll stick them in the lawn when I've finished and then I'll get little patches of white flowers and it'll be gorgeous. I also got fuchsias, but they'll be planted at the top and I can't plant the top before the bottom or they'll sink.

Today Mum and I went to buy more, so I've probably got as many ferns as I'll need, I think? Bunch of pretty leafed things, AND CYCLAMENS. EEE. They exist now as punnets with four small plants and I got SIX PUNNETS and it's awesome. I'll get more hopefully next weekend from Bunnings. And also plant them. Omfg they're beautiful. I'm going to have walls of cyclamens, WALLS of them.

NEW TOYS 8DDD God this is such a makeshift setup. The white box in front of the screen is the Bluray player and it is so slick and cool. The mirrored chrome bit on the right is the display, which is like one-way glass so the lights shine through it. It's so cool. And then you'll notice how narrow the front is? There's no drawer for the disk to go in, oh no. That white on top is the lid. You don't lift it. You push the eject button and it raises up a little and slides to the right over the display it is so cool. And the speakers have LEDs behind them that light up and pulse in time to your music (or turn off if you're watching a movie). And the TV is hyooj and I love it. I watched Hawks vs Sydney purely to just watch something on it on Thursday night. And then watched Game Grumps on it, because the remote has a YouTube button it is that simple.

I'll probably move fairly soon on buying a media unit, because that buffet it's sitting on right now really doesn't do the job. It's too long so the speakers don't quite fit, doesn't have shelves so the collection of bits plugging into the tv are either shoved awkwardly in front of it or underneath it, it's so old and cheap-looking compared to my amazingly slick and modern entertainment unit, and the whole thing's too high up. Sitting down on the couch, your eyes are about a third the way up the screen, and the lights reflect off it, too. So yeah. Buffet doesn't make the best of entertainment units, who knew?

You wish your living/dining furniture was as shit mismatched eclectic as mine.
