I was telling Chris about this story I'd read during genealogy research; (a woman who came over on the Mayflower had a baby mid-trip and (inspired by the oceanic excursion) named him Oceanus.); and I commented how silly it seems when people name their children after things that happened surrounding their birth, like "Rain" or "Storm" or whatever.
