School and such
Quantum mechanics is starting to really kick my ass. I don't much like it. This stuff is interesting, but it's so overloaded with hideous integration that it makes me want to cry. Also, even though Takeuchi is a very, very smart guy and a decent professor, he does not explain things as well as I'd like him to. In addition, he assumes that we know, understand, or can derive everything that he knows, understands, and can derive, and there he is very, very wrong. I spent 5 hours on this last homework assignment (that's with Austin's help), and I still didn't finish it and probably got parts of it wrong. It was only 2 problems out of chapter 2 in Griffiths. Sigh.
I've been severely neglecting my math class. Even though it's bullshit, I ought to at least do the homework so I can not fail the quizzes (not that this helped me much on the first quiz). Come to think of it, I got nearly identical scores on both quizzes while having studied diligently for the first and not even having known about the second. What a bunch of crap...
Austin related things are going better. Everything is not happy-go-lucky and good, but it's much better than it has been, and I predict sunnier days in the near future. <3 <3 <3
