The real crime, I think, was the beard.
I keep feeling like I should post about these finales, but I don't actually have very much to say about them. Here are my brief reviews:
Office -- LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. Also, every morning I wake up and thank the good lord for Andy Bernard and how he saved Jim Halpert from himself. PROPOSING AT A WORK PARTY. GROSS, HALPERT.
My only major disappointment with the episode was that Toby didn't get very many lines for his big sendoff (ALSO I DO NOT WANT TOBY TO GO AWAY D:). Also, I was kind of hoping for an unconventional couple to get a moment on the ferris wheel, because COME ON, YOU HAD A FERRIS WHEEL. Oh well.
Otherwise, ROCKING.
HIMYM -- LOVED IT! Though... oh Mosby, you and Halpert really should just get together already. You can propose on the first date if you want. But I am SO GLAD that Barney and Ted are back together, and OH HELLO, BARNEY STINSON, YOU HAVE A HEART. <3 <3
The only thing about this show -- I know it's two dudes creating it about their lives, so I guess that's why there's hardly ever any female POV, but for God's sake, ROBIN NEEDS SOME INPUT ON THE ROBIN/BARNEY STORYLINE. How does she feeeeeeeeel about it? COME ON.
Moving on! It's the Friday before a three day weekend, let's play a game. So I think we all know that fandom loses its shit over some fuggos sometimes. So here is a Hot or Not poll, dudes chosen basically off the top of my head from fandom woobies. In this context, voting "Hot" means, "I see the attraction and can understand why there might be message boards devoted to this dude's physical attractiveness." Voting "Not" means, "I do not get it." Try to vote independently of your annoyance level at fandom itself, if you can. Ha. This poll is confined to dudes because when's the last time a large contingent of fandom lost its shit over a lady? Never o'clock?
