Ugly Wednesday Morning
We had a very nice evening last night (that I will post about later) but we had a very ugly morning: the kids got up late,and after putzing around in the bathroom Erin wasn't getting ready and I asked her why,and finally figured out it was because she wanted me to show her what candy I was talking about putting in her lunch bag,but the deal was that I would show her as she was getting ready. Well,of course she wanted to see first (ya know,my way or the highway),and a loud argument ensued,and she and Shawn barely made it to school on time. Her hair looks like "doodie",and I ended up putting in a half-a**ed ponytail because that's all I had time to do! I am really getting tired of getting them up for school in the morning,because if one of 'em isn't giving me fits the other one is,and in a way I can't wait for summer break!!!!!
'Course then they will be fighting and that will be a whole other set of problems...
Erin really needs to take a bath tonight,so I am hoping she will have forgiven me by this afternoon so that's not another argument. Speaking of after school,as I've written,Shawn has been helping with the scenery for the Drama Club play (Pinnochio) and apparently today is the performance for the parents. It supposedly begins at 5:30 but I never have received any info about it which annoys me to no end,so I asked Shawn to please find out,preferably getting a note from the teacher in charge so I know what is going on. I am assuming we'll stay if we take him up there,so we can watch Shawn the Prop Boy in action but it sure would be nice to know what's going on! And I don't think it should really be up to me to find out;the teachers should have enough sense to send information home for the parents! Grrrr! >(
Anyway,Glenn is off today but just arrived back home from doing the schedule,so Kamryn and I need to get ready for the day and I shouldn't type much more anyway.
