Some bullet points about today:
**Kamryn and I went to Target this afternoon to get the things we didn't yesterday and had a pretty good trip,though she did get a bit crabby at the end. We exchanged the unopened package of trainers and bought her a nice 9-pack of undies instead. Hooray!! All it took was a couple of messes on the floor and she has been going on the big potty ever since! Hooray again!!
**My sister went to the doctor today (if you are keeping up,today's her due date),and she isn't any more dilated than she was last week (1-2 cm),nor any more effaced,so she went home. If she doesn't deliver by Sat. then she will be induced. Guess our walk around Sam's Club yesterday wasn't enough to entice the baby down any further...
**The sun is out and the weather is absolutely gorgeous! I sure hope it stays this way!! :D
**Tonight Glenn and I are going to the Peoria Symphony with very special guest, the incomparable violin virtuoso,Mr. Itzhak Perlman. My MIL,who has season tickets to the Symphony,bought us tickets for Christmas,and it should be a great evening. I played (squeaked on?) violin for 8 years,and my former orchestra teacher is an esteemed member (and violinist) of the Symphony,so that right there is interesting enough,but to say I've seen Itzhak Perlman in person is just too awesome!!!
**I need to get some things done before we go,so I had better get off of here. I had wanted to really dress up tonight,because we never get to do that,and I have two dresses I never wear anymore,but of course it'll hinge on two things 1) that Glenn's nice suit still fits him and 2) I can find some fancy black shoes to wear with either of said dresses,because I think I put the pair I had worn with them in my Grandma's garage sale at some point...stupid! :(
