What you became to me
Sara described it perfectly to me when I told her I was not feeling well last night but could not say what it was. She goes, "Do you feel like no matter how much water you drink, your throat always feels dry?" YES! That is it! I normally describe it as I have smoke stuck in my throat, but the dryness is it! And I have a problem, when I am sick like this, not really stay in bed and wallow sick, but sick enough to complain to everyone I know, I want to eat everything in sight.
So on top of that, I am exhausted. Like can barley keep my eyes open here at work. After going out for lunch for a co-worker, I am going home and going to bed. Sara is staying at our place tonight, so the more time I can spend without her and getting sleep the better. She actually stayed at the apt last night so getting ready today sucked seeing as I have not had to work around anyone else for the bathroom in so long. It was strange.
There is talk of a Trivial Pursuit night with Katie and Laura and others tonight. No drinking though because I am doing the Valentine's 5K tomorrow morning. It is a walk/run, and it is supposed to be about 10 degrees. I might walk a bit if this junk in my body does not go away. Jeffy is doing it with me last I heard. He can push me along when I get lazy. Sara and her sister are also doing it. Sara has a personal goal to break 21 minutes. I'll pull in at about 40.
And then tomorrow night is the Miss Coon Rapids Pagent for Miss Parker. I am so excited!
