GO STEELERS! Yeah for Big Benny and the Steelers winning the Super Bowl. I do think that the Seahawks got screwed on more then a few calls, but it made me smile to see a team go all the way through the playoffs, 6th seed, on the road and win it all. I'm a sucker for the underdog though.
I had a great weekend. Friday night went out for dinner with Whitney, Amanda, and Whit's mom and other friends. Saturday I was up and at 'em early to do the TNT kick-off. My co-worker was sick, so I got to cover her stuff which was fun. I was there doing all that stuff from 9am-2pm and only once we stopped moving did I notice how hungry I was. Then rememered I hadn't eaten anything all day. I was so hungry I was mad. You know the feeling? Went out for some food then went to Laura's to meet her nephew, Aiden. Precious. Took a little nap because while I had food in me and was happy in that way, I had been so deprived, I had a headache. The nap helped tons.
Went home, packed up for the night and headed downtown for the drinking! What a fantastic night. When I am on, I am so on. Out for the night was Whitney, Amanda, Megan, Robbie, Josh, me, Jay, James, and Eric. Josh was an asshole. Made quick friends with James and Eric and all of us danced the night away.
Woke up Sunday AM and headed home. Why at 10:30 AM does my co-worker, my mother and LTN Boy all call me at the same time? Seriously. My mom didn't like my answer when she asked where I was, and all I said was, "Not at my apt."
Sunday was SUPER BOWL at Jeffy and Christie's along with Mike. And the 2 cutest cats ever. Guys, I totally want to steal Goldy (sp?) from you.
Work is nuts today. But that is what happens when we have 63 new people for our events sign up on Saturday.
I need to go to a doc for my wrist. It hasn't stopped hurting and seems to be getting more stiff.
