More excitement
Two down, one to go!
My insanely long translation theory paper is in too!
Now only the Italian paper remains, still untitled but now 7 pages long. It's going in a slightly different direction than I had intended. I suppose that this is why I usually don't bother to title them before I've finished writing them. I'm having weird stylistic problems, though; I'd written tons of papers before using lots of quotes in Italian within the English text, but this is the first in a long time where I'm using quotes in English within an Italian essay, and the first where I'm using this many, and I'm having trouble making it flow. Weird that it works one way but not the other. It's just really jarring to switch to English mid-thought, where somehow it wasn't to go the other way. I've written to my professor to ask for advice about it. I can think of options, but not many, which limits how I can write.
Tomorrow: more critical reading, some in Italian (yay- more easily incorporated into the paper!) and random errands. I have a huge list of things I need to get done before I head home, which is hopefully happening on Sunday.
