Where to start...
Oh my goodness it's been forever and 12 years.
There's lots of updates to be had and I can't do it all at once. Earlier this month I travelled to Chicago to see my ailing mommy. She's not doing too good these days with her bad heart now, so her days are slowly more and more numbered. Of course the entire time I was back in Chicago everyone made me feel so welcome by constantly asking "why did you come back?"
In a nut shell, I guess I won't ever being going back after the reception I got.
I did get to attend a fun Mary Kay party and got me some goodies. Since then I've actually worn makeup every single day! (queue surprise music!)
I'm still picking Chris up from work nightly and unfortunately some bad things have come up between us. We're not in a good situation right now with our roommate, he's jobless and not trying to get a job anytime soon. He does have a small monthly income so he's used that to pay his way, but it's still not always enough, he's missed a few months here and there.
It's been an exhausting year... I'm ready for Halloween already too. I've really gotten myself into the arts and crafts. I have a whole bunch of projects, painting, knitting, sewing, crocheting... I can't wait until it starts to cool off again and the leaves turn and I can sip hot cocoa and work on a blanket. I'm so weird
