(no subject)
so this weekend, brett, bretts friend alex and i had a very surreal night involving humane society fundraiser dinners, winning $100, broken flowers, being pulled over by police, kittens. i like feeling like im actually becoming real friends with someone.
then alex left and there were puppies. lots and lots and lots of puppies. this continued all weekend, interspersed with flea markets, a praying mantis, amazing mexican food, homework, cats, naps, hand holding, deadwood, laguna beach, pizza, church, the mall, a lack of moulin rouge, beds full of dogs, and general nice times. im not sure how soon i could handle cat and dog-sitting for a total of 9 animals again, but it was worth every minute of craziness.
today there was unexpected jon wilcox, and a disheartening conversation with my mom. there was also one brett blaauw, which is always a good thing no matter what.
now, im too energized to sleep but i really should. and i also should write a paper. or two. and read a book. or two.
geez, i only have 16 more days of school. that would be cool, except for how much work i have to do in that time. plus i will miss brett. and will be working a lot at the discovery store and thus will not be able to visit him much. but at least i will be making money that i can put towards study abroad.
