I have officially sunk to new levels of updating fail. I don't think I've posted anything in about 6 months. Err...whoops?
I am still skirting the edges of Merlin fandom - just can't seem to shake these two. Not that I've been trying, I think they will always be my OTP. I do also dabble in the The Eagle fic as well (fuck, do I love a good Esca/Marcus modern AU). Not sure I'll ever be able to write any, but we'll see.
I am gearing up for hs_merlin posting - I signed up for fic, my first attempt at writing since last year's paperlegends. I'm also signed up for reel_merlin - I will get this damn Letters to Juliet story done. Who doesn't love a good Merlin/Arthur romcom?
So what else is going on in fandom? I've been seeing a lot of hockey RPF. I find it a bit...bizarre. I used to play hockey, and I've been watching it my whole life. I hate Crosby and Malkin - though I do feel a bit more kindly toward them for getting themselves knocked out in the first round. Ovechkin is still around, sadly, but I am hoping my boys will take care of that shortly (GO RANGERS!!!!!). But to each their own - I will continue navigating LJ while doing the online equivalent of sticking my fingers in my ears and going LALALALALALALALALA every time I see some.
I am thinking of setting up a fannish twitter account. Every now and then I miss squeeing with other Merlin fans about fic, but somehow it doesn't feel appropriate to tweet about tentacle porn and mpreg on my RL account, which I sometimes use for semi-professional reasons. If I do set it up, I will be trolling for people to follow, so be forewarned =)
