Went and changed the layout - anna_sg1. Twice in one year, very unlike me but the last one was just too bright ugh.

I've seen some comments on tumblr and I have questions for my Doctor Who loving (or just Doctor Who watching XD) friends - did the events in the whole of season 5 even happen after that Big Bang or whatever that was? I now that Amy, Rory,

Yeah, it's sucks they put Amy saying how it's sometimes confusing for her to have memories of two different lives in her head on a DVD extra. It's sorta important for her character but W/E. :/

I gave up on River's storyline a long time ago. Makes no sense or logic even in the context of Doctor Who and I don't mean that as a compliment to Moffat's writing.

It's Moffat, and he just likes to tell stories and the whole time-travel-sensical thing is just a nitpicky part of it. :)

Heh. I handwave a lot of stuff on Doctor Who. But nice story structure is something that's very much lacking a lot of the times these past few seasons, so it gets hard. XD Like, why did the Tardis even explode? This event was the basis of the larger story of season 5. We had those cracks zoomed in every episode and then we get no payoff for the ~mystery. The effects of the explosion are dealt with, but the cause is never mentioned. Or am I remembering it wrong?

He may like to tell stories and seems to especially love the unnecessarily convoluted twists, but IMO without people around to edit his stuff - he's not very good at it. It's all great for an episode here and there (Blink, for example), but he loses himself in the greater storyarcs. IDK how to explain it.... I guess most of the times I feel like the idea is great but the execution always leaves me wanting.
