10 days till Supernatural!!!

Have another review of Doctor Who - The Power Of Three.

[spoilers naturally, also lots of words]
First I gotta say that I really dislike all the time-jumps this season. IMO everything feels disjointed and it's really really hard for me to connect, attach or give a shit about anything that's going on. The jumps are so abrupt and we are told (and in some cases

LOL yeah, she says it's been ten years for her and Rory but not for Earth OR FOR THE DOCTOR. So... wtf? How? I don't understand that at all.

and have the Doctor imprint upon women when they're young and then influence their life.

seems like the imprinting goes two-ways since Amy is seared on his ~~soul.

And that totally bothered me too, that people would just leave them laying around and use them for paperweights and stuff...? Are you kidding? No way.

Hahahaha, I was just thinking about that and my first move would be to freak out and take all of those cubes OUT OF MY HOUSE and probably bury them deep behind my backyard or something. everyone else can ~~experiment and ~~monitor thankyouverymuch. I've seen enough movies to know an invasion when I see one. Even if it is a slow one.

Why did those creepy dudes even have those creepy faces? Was there a point/reason? It feels so random.

probably my favorite episode of the season so far but "favorite" is far too strong a word, lol.

LMAO yes, we are definitely grading on a curve of bad episodes... so this one is definitely the ~*~best~*~ one so far. I blame the nostalgic RTD era feeling it gave me. Plus, Earth.

Uuuuuuuuuugh, ~seared on his soul~ give me a break. I know I'm prejudiced against the Ponds, but just stop. So glad they're finally leaving next week.

hahahahahaha, my first thought was to bury them in my backyard too!!! And they have to know about the daleks and the cybermen and stuff, right? So like... how could the entire planet be that stupid? I don't get it.

THERE WAS NO REASON. Except to capture Brian and thus lure in Rory, so that he could be there when the Doctor and Amy showed up. But unless they return to these people later this season, that is apparently going to go unexplained. And even if they DO come back to it later, it's still shitty writing to have people being kidnapped and then never explain why it happened...

Yeah, did Moffat even do a single Earth episode in seasons 5 or 6? I can't think of any off the top of my head.

I gotta say though, I always believed Ten shaped himself on Rose and her character and all that so I guess I can believe that Eleven would always be prejudiced towards the Ponds to a point. And I wouldn't mind Amy imprinting on him but the vice-versa thing is creepy, especially since she was a child when it happened.

SEE THAT WAS MY QUESTION! Do these people know about the daleks and the cybermen??? IDK, feels like Moffat left it open for all kinds of changes with Big Bang. :|

And even if they DO come back to it later, it's still shitty writing to have people being kidnapped and then never explain why it happened...

Shitty writing is exactly what it is yeah.

And LOL basically letting all those people there die without even trying to save them or even mentioning them later - gotta love how lately this show gives no fucks about killing people/aliens/living creatures.

OMG that Hungry Earth two-parter was SO BORING to me!!! It was hard work finishing those episodes ngl. XD Loved Eleventh Hour, though.
