(no subject)
I am in a generally better mood today, i don't know what happened, but i was so low yesterday, and talking to denae i cried so much, and so my sister and i went to parables and bought denae some presents. I didnt have enough money to get everything yet, BUT i did give her half my gift, then decorated her car and house...well, in my ghetto ass way. i'm not gonna put tape on someone else's house...the paint at least. so i hung balloons and a banner on her windows, and my paycheck this last week was small and so my checking account is hurting some. but its not too bad, -_-; i just have to wait until friday to finish my birthday shopping for her. :P
work didnt depress me yesterday like it has been for the past three or four weeks, and even the irrate lady on the phone didnt get me quite down. i almost yelled at her, but i just held the phone away from my ear. she was blaming her stupidity and no-knowledge-of-fish-tanks on me. like, she was the one who had done research, had had as much experience (ooo, fish tank for three months!)...what set her off really was me saying "if you're worried about your other fish getting the disease, you can exchange the deceased ones for an ich medicine and at the first symptoms, treat the tank" she was soooo pissed at that answer "I KNOW HOW ICH WORKS! IF ONE FISH GETS IT, THEY ALL GET IT! LET ME SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER BECAUSE YOU APPARENTLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!" yes, i do know what i'm talking about, treating fish that arent sick can make them sick. but nooooooo i'm just an idiot, apparently. ich does not work like that, and she claims to know what she's doing, but she let the fish get so sick before worrying about medicating them, and its probably an issue with her water quality because we arent having an ich issue at the store. and she didnt say it was ich, she said "my fish have air bubbles on them" so i tried to say "does it look like grains of salt?" and she got so mad at that too, "i know what ich looks like, thats what it is!" god, then why didnt you fucking say so? jesus christ!
and david said he was written up and he's going to challenge it, that pat is trying to get rid of him, and that david is going to have pat written up for the same thing he was written up for...because pat wrote david up (or something like that) so david is going to tell the DM that pat hasnt been signing our specialty check lists (which is true, he never leaves his fucking office)....i hope pat gets written up, that would already be two strikes in less than 6 months. i'm ready for him to leave. he doesnt help, he sits on his ass all day in the office and messes around on the PC. he hasnt signed checklists while i've been around.
If david leaves, I leave. I am NOT going through another manager rotation. Everything has been going so well with david, and I dont want them to hire some person who knows nothing about pet care...and if david looses his job over something like this, and pat is going to play favorites (cause he hasnt written up anyone else for this same infraction), so I am going to leave. If david goes, i'm going to apply at the tabacco hut or bakers..anything, minimum wage is fine if need be. fuck this shit.
