Osama Bin Laden
Quite the end to an already emotional weekend. The Spousal Unit and I were sitting in bed watching the last few minutes of Treme, just about to go lights out, when The Boyfriend came down the hall and said "Osama Bin Laden's been killed."
Gotta admit I thought he might have been dead for years, and his organization would just never tell us. We immediately switched to the news channels and flipped around the line-up for minute-to-minute updates, I grabbed my BlackBerry to follow twitter, and stayed up to watch the President's speech.
Hearing this morning about the risky Navy Seal operation which came face to face with, and took out, this mass murderer fills one with awe. Those guys are real life superheroes.
