Happy post-Independence Day to my fellow American flisters (hope y'all had fun and fabulous weekends) - and for everyone else, a Happy Sarah Palin Incoherent Rambling Quitter Day, because who doesn't love a good freak show anytime of the year? Getting the book An Irish Country Doctor from the local bookstore. It takes place back in the 60's, so it might be a bit nostalgic. I need to read some of my backlog as well. Have Zoe's Tale to read. Really liked Scalzi's "Old Man's War, Ghost Bridgade, and The Android's Dream. Finally picked up Angels and Demons for a buck at the book trade store. Guess I will be reading that soon as well. My reading books has fallen a bit since I am reading a lot of fan fiction on the net.
Sounds like your fourth was really healthy. 'Slayed salmon and turkey burgers'. I have to admit, love the salmon but draw the line at turkey burgers. NEED COW on the fourth.
Hope you enjoy your new dreamwidth.

I'm sure it'll hit dvd soon enough. The Maternal Unit thought it was very familiar, and I think you'll probably appreciate it too. ;)
Sounds like you've got a lot to read too.

I've only read Brown's Da Vinci Code, which I thought was a decent quickie summer-type read, if you didn't take it seriously at all. ;) A&D is the prequel, and I've debated picking it up several times. If I see it real cheap, maybe I will eventually. But it's not like I'm bereft of reading material right now, or anytime in the near future. *eek*

We've become huge fans of the ground turkey substitute in a lot of dishes. When we grill turkey burgers, we always grill a few hamburgers too so folks have a choice. But everyone usually ends up preferring the turkey - it's juicier! ;D
