It's been months, nearly a year, since i made much of a post, and a couple of years since I posted regularly. Don't know if anyone out there still has me on their read list, but I want to put this out here for my own clarity.

Saturday, I went to speruoc's moving sale getting some Renn-type CDs I'd been wanting. She's moving to Kentucky near family -- I'll miss seeign her around the Tavern volunteering. I seem to have dropped my pattern of weekly posts. After two months of leaving before 9:00 every Saturday and Sunday, and the only stops being QuikTrips for gas, and possibly a fast run to the grocery at 7:30 or 8:00 when I got back home, it was nigh exhilarating to not leave home today until after 11:00! Yesterday, Steve and Rick, and Isil too of course, brought me lunch and gifts and conversation while I was at work at Horizon. A day or so after I was told we had Dec. 26th off at my day job, Horizon emailed me needing someone to work box office for both performances of the children's show, Madeline's Christmas, one at 1:00 and the other at 3:30. #2 son, #3 son, and his girlfriend (aka Stephen, Rick, and Isil) all came up for dinner last night and to help me set up the tree. It goes so quickly with four people hanging ornaments, and it's fresh for Isil who's from Turkey. This is only her second year in the US (grad school as a pianist). I have noticed that whenever a guy has box office the night before me, he will leave the cash box full of big bills and pennies, requiring that I scramble around in a hurry to set the cash box up so that I can actually make change.

Women don't do that.

This is the box office equivalent of leaving the toilet seat up.
