I actually forgot about the blog. What the crap am I thinking? Not like anyone really reads, but I apologize to anyone who may.
I have just been preparing for my journey to Australia. I got a Nintendo DS from my wonderful friend at work (who got a massive referral bonus when I was hired) and a new camera. I'm starting to get really excited. I'm actually beginning to pack tonight, believe it or not.
The only crappy part about this is that I have to do my school work early. I just turned in one assignment and all of a sudden, the next is due. So I will ask you, my readers, if you have any suggestions for the following:
(1) Compare and contrast the core competencies of the IBM Corporation and the Dell Corporation.
(2) Select two current high technology products, where one is responding primarily to technology push and the other primarily to market pull, and explain why one is driven by technology push and the other by market pull.
(3) Select two mergers (or acquisitions or partnerships) between technology-oriented companies, one of which has been successful and the other which failed. Discuss why one was a failure and the other succeeded.
(4) Describe a technology transfer from outside the U.S. into the U.S. Describe why and how the transfer took place and whether or not it was successful.
(5) Describe high technology that a large supermarket chain currently employs and speculate on high technology it might use ten years from now.
