Well I haven't really been in the mood to write for the past couple days. I'm still not, but I am just irritated enough that I think I should, before I snap at someone.
It snowed and iced and was really bad weather the past few days. I went into work on Tuesday but left at 2, when they let the federal employees out. I didn't go in the next day cause the ice was too thick. They didn't plow my road until late Wednesday, and then the mound of snow at the bottom of the driveway froze over. BF came over and tried to get rid of mound of ice, but that didn't go so well, and the shovel kinda broke. All of the snow is now an inch + of ice. Of course that means that my little Civic can't get out without experiencing some Severe Body Damage in the process.
Brilliant idea! Take the Jeep to work.
Jeep is on empty so I decided to fill it up to be nice - cha ching there goes $34. Oh well, worth it if I can go into work and get my parents in it.
Oh but I forgot, my sister "needs" the Jeep to go to Philly on Friday. So where does that leave me? With a Civic, a lot of ice, no shovel, no de-icing materials, negative $34 by filling up what I thought would be MY vehicle for the next few days, and a need to get into work.
Needless to say, I'm a little angry.
Maybe I'm making too big of a deal out of it, but damn it, I am sick of always letting everyone else have their way.
PS: Conversation I just had that cheered me up a little:
Justin: hit it with a bat
Erin: my sister?
Justin: no, the ice
Erin: see the problem with that is
Erin: i cant get footing
Erin: since everything is ice
Erin: so id swing
Erin: and fall
Erin: ya know?
Justin: put sand on your shoes
Erin: haha
Erin: cause i have sand where
Erin: ....?
Erin: in my vagina?
Erin: lol
Erin: i said it before you could
Justin: hahahaha, i was gonna say it
Erin: i know
Erin: haha
Justin: that's an away message
extreme anger and frustration
