Having finished Carnivale on Netflix, I am now checking out Torchwood. So far, a great show. Sometimes I miss bits of dialogue due to the Welsh accents, but not too much. The episode with the faeries was just brilliant and appropriately dark. Too many genre shows make the mistake of having the heroes win all the time. Doctor Who and Torchwood avoid that trap and are, in my opinion, much better shows for doing that.
