See? And this is why I don't watch the news: it's depressing. I come back from a con that celebrates the diversity in entertainment, stories and love... only to start catching up on LJ and discover more badness for same-sex marriages. Sigh.
I do not understand why a relationship not involving others could offend said others so much that they would want to deny them rights. Why who a person loves should be a cause for pain, suffering and even death. I cannot and will not accept that we are teetering backwards on the edge between what is right and fear of change.
