My New Outlook
I have *yet* to get a job, and am feeling a little bored.
In other news, I have decided to count my blessings from now on. It's so hard to focus on the positives in my life sometimes, when the world I live in seems so materialistic and shallow. It's easy to get sucked into the whole "I must look good to feel good and I must be filthy rich" thing. But no more. I shall be happy for my blessings - I am pretty enough, I am smart enough and I am rich enough, especially rich in the wealth that I have in the form of my wonderful family and friends. I am able to walk, talk, see, listen, and sense. I am able to go outside and enjoy the sunshine (or rain, since it's Melbourne) and take in the beauty of nature. I have a blessed life and I'm a fool if I don't realise it.
