So, day two as acting assistant house manager.
Things are going fine. I have no formal training for this job yet. Which irks me. How am I supposed to be an assistant house manger if I don't get training? Really? Really?
Really.
Um, currently still obsessed and learning Dr. Horrible's Sing A Long Blog musical commentary.
Had a B L A S T in Canada.
I went to the place where Stargate SG-1's Season Two episode1969 was filmed...that observatory thing. *sigh* heavenly.
And I got to look at the stars through the big telescope! Rigel (in Orion) and Castro...AND SATURN. As in, the PLANET. *dies*
Lots of laughter. I think it was very good for my beloved friend Autumn.
And the bonfire at my brother and sister-in-laws was sweet. Learned how to play Killer Bunnies. Tis fun, I actually ended up spending my Barnes and Noble gift card on it a couple days ago. Sweeeet.
And Settlers of Catan was...out of this world. Autumn picked it up really fast - as she would - and it went long into the night.
The night that Maria and I got back in to town was some of the best sleep I've had in a long time. PHEW.
Um, room is clean, pizza is about to be taken out of the oven for lunch.
All in all, a good day so far. And Christi and I got busy writing together last night. It made me feel accomplished and happy - both for me and her.
However, my hormones are on a rampage against me...
