it's digusting outside DX
Last week I went with my mother and Devon to a meeting at I.S. 77, which is the junior high that Devon will be going to in September. Incidentally, it is also the junior high school that I went to when I was his age. If I thought seeing my elementary school after so long was weird, seeing my junior high was even weirder - it was just so different. They had began renovation when I was graduating, and I had been able to see a little bit of it finished when I visited a couple years later, but I actually got to tour the school this time, and it's amazing! They've also added new programs and activities. I'm really happy with how everything has changed. I have no doubt that Devon will have a great time there.
I'm also doing another 30 days meme! The always awesome and wonderful scones showed this one to me, and I just wouldn't be myself if I didn't do it~
30 Day Meme (Dragon Ball Z) - Day 1
GOHANGOHANGOHANGOHAN. Honestly, this isn't even a question for me. Considering how much I gush over him on plurk, I'd be surprised if anyone who knew me didn't know he was my favorite character. In any case, I love Gohan at any age for so many reasons. He had his whole life uprooted when he was just four - had his father die, put through training from hell, watched his friends and mentor die, etc. And every time he faces something horrible like that, he always comes out stronger for it, both physically and as a person. I also love that he had a goal and stuck with it. He might be one of the strongest people on the planet, but he wanted to become a scholar, and so he did. I know there's people who don't like that, and much prefer Mirai!Gohan, but it's just who he is. Every time Gohan has fought it's always been to protect or help someone else. He doesn't fight just to fight. I can go on an on about why I love Gohan, but I'll leave off by saying he's just adorable in every way. I can say with absolute certainty that there is no version of Gohan that I don't like.
